KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement investigating another homicide in Kansas City, Missouri have identified the victim as 39-year-old Vincent Taylor, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino.
Just before 12:30a.m. Tuesday, officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Jefferson in Kansas City on report of someone who was shot.
First responders located Taylor suffering from gunshot wounds, just inside of an apartment building at the Quality Hill Towers. Officers began performing life saving measures as KCFD Medics arrived.
EMS pronounced him deceased on scene. This is being investigated as a homicide.
Detectives are working to determine what led up to the shots being fired and Taylor being struck. Police released no additional details.
