SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man on multiple allegations after a baby was hospitalized for a drug overdose.
On Monday, police responded to a home in the 6100 block of East Boston Street in Wichita where a baby was suffering from a fentanyl exposure.
First responders used Narcan and the child was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive, according to Officer Juan Rebolledo.
After an investigation, police arrested 38-year-old Phillip Lee Saunders on requested charge of aggravated child endangering, two drug charges, and outstanding warrants for contempt of court.
