BARTON COUNTY —After assessing the impact of Wednesday's extreme winds, USD 428 updated families on operations for the rest of the week.

Officials canceled classes at Great Bend High School Thursday due to roof damage to the building and the disconnection of gas service/heat. There will also be no remote learning.&nbsp;

Great Bend Middle School, Elementary School and Little Panthers Preschool&nbsp; are in session.

USD 428 officials released no additional details late Wednesday. There were no injuries reported.
