HARPER COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 11:30a.m. Friday in Harper County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Freightliner M2 106 driven by Ronald Tracy, 77, Harper, was westbound on Kansas 44 just east of NE 70th Avenue. The truck traveled off the road to the right. The driver overcorrected and rolled into the southbound ditch.
Tracy was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Prairie Rose Funeral Home. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, according to the KHP
