
KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) intercepted a package that contained an illegal shipment of marijuana products, according to a media release from the agency.
On Tuesday, June 17, KBI agents in the K-9 unit investigated a suspicious package that was shipped across state lines. The package was found to contain several jars of a THC concentrate weighing approximately 25.9 pounds. The approximate value of the marijuana concentrate, if sold, would be in excess of $300,000.
The concentrate was seized. The transportation, shipping, or mailing of marijuana, cannabis, or other THC products across state lines is a violation of federal law. This shipment also violates Kansas marijuana laws.
At this time, no arrests have been made.
