SALINE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.
On Thursday, detectives with the Salina Police Department conducted a search warrant in the 400 blk of S. Ohio in Salina, accordingto Police Capt. Andrew Zeigler. This investigation was based on concerns of drug activity at the residence where there were also juveniles living. During the search warrant an amount of cocaine and marijuana consistent with distribution were seized along with U.S. Currency, drug paraphernalia and a firearm.
Police arrested 36-year-old James A. McFarlane on requested charges that include 2 counts Aggravated Child Endangerment, Distribution of cocaine, Distribution of Marijuana, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, Felony possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.
