
KINGMAN COUNTY — A suspect arrested in Montana who was wanted for questioning in connection with the death of a Kansas woman made a virtual appearance before a Kansas judge on Monday.
Clinton Rogers, 34, was charged with Felony Theft during the Zoom court appearance, according to Sheriff Randy Hill. He is being held on a $50,000 bond.
Rogers is a person of interest who authorities believe is connected to the homicide of 61-year-old Joyce Foulkrod in Medicine Lodge on July 27, according to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
Deputies in Montana arrested Rogers on August 11 on a warrant for theft out of Kingman County, Kansas, according to the KBI. Investigators believe Rogers stole a 1995 Chevrolet Camaro in Kingman County on August 2 on his way to Montana.
On Friday Rogers made a court appearance in Montana and waived extradition, according to Dawson County, Montana jail warden Tom Green.
Officials transported Rogers back to Kingman County over the weekend, according to Melissa Underwood with the KBI.
On July 27, a family member found Foulkrod deceased inside her home at 3 Whitney Lane in Medicine Lodge.
Preliminary information leads investigators to believe Foulkrod’s death was a homicide.
