THOMAS COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 6p.m. Wednesday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2029 Freightliner semi driven by Tyler R. Morelock, 29, Chuckey, TN, was westbound on Interstate 70 two miles west of U.S. 24.
The semi left the roadway to the right, returned to the roadway, and left the roadway to the right a second time, overturned and slid on the passenger side into the north ditch.
EMS transported Morelock to the hospital in Colby. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
