SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement investigating a fatal accident that occurred Tuesday in Shawnee County have identified the victim as 17-year-old Hunter L. Schmidt, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.
Just after 8p.m. sheriff's deputies and emergency crews responded to a 911 call regarding an injury accident involving a dirt bike in the 5100 Block of NW Leedy Road, according to Christian.
Despite first responders effort to provided life-saving measures at the scene, Schimdt was pronounced deceased. The accident remains under investigation.
