Deputy arrests wanted Kansas woman after traffic stop

SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug charges after a traffic stop.

Just after 9:30 a.m Monday, a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 3700 block of SW Topeka Boulevard, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.

The deputy arrested the driver, Angelia M. Irvin, 35, of Topeka,  for two outstanding warrants and is she is also facing other drug and traffic related charges including possession of methamphetamine.

Irvin was booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections, according to Christian.
