Police: Search continues for 2 Kansas home burglary suspects

CLAY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities investigating an alleged burglary in Clay Center released additional security images of the suspects and are asking the public for help identifying them.

On Aug. 4, police received a report of an aggravated burglary and attempted robbery in the 700 block of Liberty Street. in Clay Center, according to a media release. The suspects fled before officers arrived. They are described as two black males between the ages of 15 and 20 years old. They 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 and  had shoulder-length dreadlocks.

One suspect was wearing an orange hoodie, camouflaged pants, one black shoe and one white shoe.

The other suspect was wearing a white or light gray zip-up jacket with a hood, blue jeans with two medium-sized holes on both pant legs and black shoes. He also had some of the ends of his dreadlocks dyed white.

No weapons were reported to have been used.  Anyone has knowledge or knows the identity of either suspect, please notify the Clay Center Police Department at 785-632-2121, and do not contact either of the suspects.
