WILSON COUNTY —Two adults and a child died in an accident just before 6a.m. Monday in Wilson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Hyundia Sonata driven by Adam Lane Brooks, 21, Fredonia, was westbound on Granby Avenue at U.S. 400. The driver failed to stop at the stop sign. A northbound Peterbilt semi driven by Marvin Leroy Lea, 59, El Dorado struck the car.
A passenger identified as Kylie Michelle Brooks, 21, Neodesha, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was transported to Country Side Funeral Home. EMS transported a 2-year-old male passenger to Wesley Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. EMS transported the driver to Wilson Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
Brooks was not injured. The occupants of the Hyundia were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
