JACKSON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a fatal UTV accident have identified the victim as Jack Minde, 34, of Holton.
Just before 11p.m. Friday, a UTV driven Minde was northbound on W. Road near 198th Road just north of Dennison, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.
The UTV traveled off the east side of the road and returned to the road. The driver lost control of the vehicle and it overturned and pinned him underneath.
First responders including Holton Fire Department, Jackson County EMS and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. They pronounced Minde dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation, according to Morse.
