KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Kansas City, Missouri
Just before 2a.m. Thursday, police were dispatched to the area of E 107th and Marsh Avenue on a reported incident with Kansas City Fire Department, according to KCPD Officer Alayna Gonzalez.
When officers arrived, they were summoned to 108th St. and Marsh Avenue where an adult male victim was located on a sidewalk unresponsive and suffering from believed gunshot trauma. Officers checked for any signs of life and attempted medical intervention until EMS responded and declared the victim deceased.
Police have not identified a person of interest and are working to determine what happened.
Homicide detectives and crime scene personnel responded to the scene to begin collecting any evidence and gathering witness statements. This incident is being investigated as a homicide.
