
JACKSON COUNTY – Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations after a traffic stop.
Just after 10:30p.. on July 27, a Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on U.S. Highway 75, near 134th Road for a traffic infraction, acording to Sheriff Tim Morse.
The traffic stop led to the arrest of the driver, 48-year-old Carl Thomas Ramsey, of Topeka. Ramsey was booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges of possession of methampehtamine, criminal possession of a weapon by felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, distribute cocaine, criminal use of weapons; possession of firearm by person addicted/use controlled substance and no drug tax stamp.
