SEDGWICK COUNTY—A judge sentenced a Kansas man to almost ten years in prison this week for sex crimes involving a 9-year-old girl.
In June, 33-year-old Andrion Ashley plead no contest to lewd and lascivious behavior, aggravated battery and criminal threat, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office. The judge also ordered Ashley to register as a sex offender.
In January of 2018, police arrested Ashley for rape, aggravated indecent liberties with a child, criminal threat, child abuse, aggravated battery and kidnapping, according to online jail records.
