WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a fatal March 22 crash in Kansas City, Kansas have identified the victims as 59-year-old Jay M. Franklin of Overland Park, Kansas and 59-year-old Rodney Chmidling of Kansas City, Missouri.
According to Kansas City, Kansas police, just after 6:30p.m. Friday, two vehicles were involved in the crash in the 1000 Block of Southwest Boulevard. Franklin and Chmidling were pronounced deceased at the scene. EMS transported two other men to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident remains under investigation. Police reported no additional details.
