RENO COUNTY —Law enforcement investigating a drug overdose death in Hutchinson that occurred in June have made an arrest, according to a media release.

&nbsp;On Wednesday, the Hutchinson Police Department Special Operations Unit arrested 37-year-old Shay L. Kane, 37,&nbsp; Eureka, Kansas, on requested charges for distribution of a controlled substance resulting in death, conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance resulting in death, and unlawful use of a communication device (13 counts). She is being held on a $250,000 bond.

This arrest is associated with a fatal drug overdose that occurred in Hutchinson in June 2024.
