
FINNEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a fatal shooting and have two suspects in custody.
Just before 10:30 a.m. Sunday police were dispatched to report of a shooting in the 800 block of N. 5th Street in Garden City, according to a media release.
Officers located Jesus Hector Flores, 36, of Garden City, KS, who had been shot. EMS transported Flores to St. Catherine Hospital where he later died.
Through the investigation police identified 18-year-old Alexander Goetting and 28-year-old Dalton Pister both of Garden City, KS, as being involved in the shooting.

Police located Goetting and took him into custody. Pister was located and arrested in Scott City, with the assistance of the Scott City Police Department and the Scott County Sheriff’s Department.
Goetting is being held on requested charges of of First-Degree Murder, Aggravated Robbery, and weapons violations. Pister is being held on requested charges of First-Degree Murder and Aggravated Robbery.
