100s of stolen computer tablets, video games found in Kan. hotel

JOHNSON COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating three suspect on multiple allegations after sting operation.

Last month, police received information about an individual in Lenexa who was selling stolen goods in an online Marketplace, according to a social media report from Lenexa Police.

Detectives and officers began communicating with this suspect and set up a sting operation to "buy" some of the stolen merchandise. This operation was successful and 3 individuals were charged as part of this case.

Police found over 100 Nintendo Switches and over 100 Samsung tablets in the suspect's hotel room. In addition to stolen goods recovered, police also seized methamphetamine in the room and one of the arrested individuals was charged with intent to distribute the meth.
