TOPEKA — The Kansas Department of Transportation announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place Feb. 19, 2025, in Topeka. Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.

District Three — Northwest
Rawlins ‑ 25‑77 KA‑6737‑02 ‑ K‑25, from the junction K‑25/U.S. 36 north to the Kansas/Nebraska state line, guard fence, 13.2 miles, L & M Contractors Inc., Great Bend, Kansas, $1,213,461.20.
District Six — Southwest
Ness ‑ 96‑68 KA‑6609‑02 ‑ K‑96, from the east city limits of Ness City east to the Ness/Rush county line, guard fence, 16.9 miles, Klaver Construction Company Inc., Wichita, Kansas, $6,563,044.01.
The following projects were approved from the Jan. 22, 2025, letting.
Ness ‑ 96‑68 KA‑6447‑01 ‑ Pavement restoration on K‑96 in Ness City, from Court Street to Kansas Avenue; and from U.S. 283 to School Street, grading and surfacing, 0.2 mile, Morgan Brothers Construction, Inc., La Crosse, Kansas, $1,776,823.40.
