
KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement are investigating a double-homicide in Kansas City.
Just after 5:30p.m. Saturday, police were dispatched to a reported shooting i the 4000 block of Troost in Kansas City, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.

Callers advised that two people were shot at the location. First responders were directed to an apartment building there. Officers located an adult male shooting victim unresponsive on the front porch of the apartment building. They were further led inside one of the apartment units where officers located an adult female shooting victim unresponsive.
Officers called for EMS to the scene who declared both shooting victims deceased. Homicide detectives are investigating. At this time detectives are not searching for any additional suspects. Further they are working with witnesses to determine the exact sequence of events that led up to the victims being shot.
