CLARK COUNTY —After fighting a large wild fire last week, crews in southwest Kansas were busy with another grass fire Thursday.

Ashland Kansas fire crews reported on their social media page they just got home from a grass fire that started along U.S. 160 three miles west of Ashland.
They thanked crews from Minneola, Englewood, Fowler and Ford county for their help. There were no injuries reported.
"Please make sure chains and other things that can spark a fire are properly secured on all vehicles. We are all home safe and sound."
