SEWARD COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a deadly shooting in southwest Kansas.
Just after 2a.m. Sunday, police responded to report of gunshots at the Capital Sport Bar, 737 South Kansas Avenue in Liberal, according to a media release.
First responders found two gunshot victims and a suspect. Police took the suspect into custody and recovered a firearm. EMS transported both victims to Southwest Medical Center. One of the victims later died of his injuries.
Police released no additional details Monday morning.
