Kansas deputies seize 150 pounds of marijuana

JOHNSON COUNTY, Kan. —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug distribution and other charges after a Kansas traffic stop.

Deputies stopped a truck for a traffic violation on Interstate 35 near Sunflower Road, according to a social media report from the Johnson County Sheriff's Department.  

Deputies picked up on the scent of marijuana coming from the back of vehicle and seized 150 pounds of marijuana. 

 The driver was transporting the drugs from California to Ohio, according to the sheriff's department.
