RENO COUNTY— Law enforcement authorities are investigating the case of a house fire in Hutchinson.
Just before 4:30a.m. Wednesday, crews responded to fire at a fire at 715 West 9th Street, according to Fire Chief Steven Beer.
First responders found the heavy fire at the rear of the single story home. As fire crews entered the home, they located the seat of the fire in a bedroom that had extended into the attic space and other areas of the home.
Crews made an aggressive interior attack and were able to stop the spread of fire before it moved through the entire attic space. No one was home at the time of the fire; however, fire command was given additional information that the home was intentionally set on fire.
There were no injuries, according to Beer.
