RENO COUNTY—An inmate died Tuesday at the Reno County Correctional Facility.
Just after 1:30 a.m., the inmate identified as 41-year-old Joshua Caleb Ledbetter of Hutchinson, was found unresponsive in his cell, according to a statement from the Reno County Sheriff's office.
Jail personnel and emergency responders were immediately notified. Despite efforts by on-site staff he was pronounced deceased.
Ledbetter was booked into the jail on April 30 on requested charges of electronic indecent solicitation of a Child, according to the sheriff's office.
There is no indication of foul play. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation will provide an independent investigation. The Reno County Coroner determine the cause of death.
