JOHNSON COUNTY —A Kansas woman is going to prison for a drug deal overdose death.

Last week, Judge Thomas Sutherland sentenced 54-year-old Yahne Brown to 12 years in prison for distribution of drugs leading to death, according to the Johnson County District Attorney's office.

In July, Brown was convicted for the fentanyl overdose death of 32-year-old Steven Cantrell in 2020.
