MONTGOMERY COUNTY—A Kansas man injured in an accident just after 9:30a.m. Sunday in Montgomery County has died.
A 2017 motorcycle driven by Harvey E. Eccles, 70, Burlington, was traveling on County Road 5600 one half mile south of West County Road 2700, according to Sheriff Ron Wade.
The motorcycle left the road to the right and entered the ditch.
An air ambulance transported Eccles to Mercy Hospital in Joplin where he died. A passenger on the motorcycle identified Deanna Eccles was not injured. The sheriff's office released no additional details.
