LAFAYETTE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.

On Tuesday,&nbsp;a Trooper stopped a vehicle on Interstate 70 for traffic violations in Lafayette County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

 A Lafayette County K-9 responded to the scene and alerted to narcotics inside the vehicle. A vehicle search was conducted, resulting in 88 pounds of cocaine taken off the streets.&nbsp; The MSHP released no additional details.
