Kan. man jailed after wild drive with two children in the vehicle

 JACKSON COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating  a Kansas man on multiple allegations after an incident on a Kansas highway.

Just before 4 p.m. Sept. 12, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a traffic complaint of a gray passenger vehicle unable to maintain the driving lane, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

Deputies discovered a Kaleb Liam Johnson, 25, of Topeka, allegedly drove reckless swerving in front of another vehicle causing it to almost leave the roadway, engaging in reckless driving, swerving across multiple lanes of traffic. The vehicle was occupied with two children inside.

Johnson was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail for aggravated assault, two counts of aggravated child endangerment, reckless driving and driving with an expired registration.
