ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a wanted suspect on multiple charges after an arrest.
On July 8, police arrested Nathaniel L. Burnett, Jr., 67, Atchison, on a District Court warrant for battery and attempted buying sexual relations, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
On June 24, police issued Burnett a notice to appear in court for driving while revoked, no license tag, and no proof of insurance at 10th and U.S.59. He is being held without bond, according to online jail records.
