KANSAS CITY—Authorities are investigating the cause of an apartment fire in Kansas City.
Just before 2:30p.m. Monday, crews responded to a reported apartment fire in the 4200 block of NE Davidson Road in Kansas City, Missouri, according to Battalion Chief Riley Nolan.
On arrival, crews reported "nothing showing" from the exterior of a three-story occupied apartment building. After entering the structure, smoke was found on the 3rd floor. Searches of the structure were conducted and came back all clear. The fire was brought under control just after 2:35 p.m.
Red Cross has been ordered for 2 adults and 6 children.
