TOPEKA —"Slow down, speeding doesn't just endanger you, it endangers everyone else on the road as well," the Kansas Highway Patrol wrote on social media this week.
Master Trooper Ben Elsass recently stopped a motorist going 104 mph in a 40 mph zone. The driver received a ticked with a $813 fine, according to the KHP.
"Remember, no matter where you're headed it's more important to get there safely than on time. Slow down and help us keep everyone on the roads safe."
