
KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating another homicide in Kansas City.
Just after 10pm Tuesday, police were dispatched to the area of 32nd and Agnes in Kansas on the sound of gunshots. While officers were on the way the call was upgraded to a shooting call at a house in the 3000 block of E 32nd street, according to Captain Jake Becchina.
On arrival officers were directed inside a residence there where they located a woman with gunshot wounds and she was unresponsive.
EMS declared the victim deceased at the scene. Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was inside the residence when shots came into the house from the outside and struck her, according to Becchina.
Police have not released the name of the victim or any suspect details.
