SEDGWICK COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 3:30p.m. Saturday in Sedgwick County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1997 Ford Expedition driven by Lois Amos, 78, Wichita, was northbound on Greenwich Road at Kansas 254. The driver failed to yield the right of way. An eastbound 2023 Harley Davidson Tri Glide driven by Timothy Verbeck, 64, El Dorado, struck the SUV.
Verbeck was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to the Sedgwick County Forensic Center. EMS transported Amos to Wesley Medical Center. Amos was properly restrained and Verbeck was wearing a helmet at the the time of the crash, according to the KHP.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a vehicle was northbound on Greenwich Road at Kansas 254. The driver failed to yield the right of way.
An eastbound vehicle struck struck the northbound vehicle. Investigators did not release names of those involved or additional information early Sunday. Check the Post for more information as it becomes available.
