SEDGWICK COUNTY —A Kansas toddler was injured during an incident Tuesday at a home daycare.

Just before 1:30p.m. first responders received a&nbsp;the call of a possible drowning at a home in the 9700 block of south Ridge Road, according to Sheriff's Lt. Benjamin Blick.

&nbsp;A home daycare provider was swimming in an above ground pool with several children when she noticed a 16-month-old face down in the pool. 

She quickly pulled the toddler from the pool, performed CPR and called 911.&nbsp;When deputies arrived girl was conscious and alert. EMS transported the child to a hospital for observation, according to Blick.
