SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting and have made an arrest.
Just after 10:30 p.m., Tuesday, police were dispatched to a local hospital reference a shooting victim who arrived by private vehicle, according to Lt. Manuel Munoz.
The male victim was suffering from non-life threating injuries.
Investigation revealed that the incident took place in the 3200 block of SW 31st Terrace in Topeka. Further investigation and follow up determined that the suspect identified as Jason Duane Bulger, 40, of Topeka had gone to 2115 SW Mission Avenue in Topeka. Police located and took him into custody.
Officers booked him on requested charges of Aggravated Battery.
