Kansas sheriff's K9 unit found meth during traffic stop

OSAGE COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating two suspects on drug allegations.

Just before 9a.m. September 30, a sheriff's K9 unit conducted a traffic stop just east of Quenemo on 269th Street for a traffic violation, according to Sheriff Chris Wells.

During the stop, illegal narcotics were located.Two subjects were taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail Facility.

Jack Sands, 25, of Kansas City, is jailed on requested charges of Possession of methamphetamine, Possession of marijuana, No driver’s license and Reckless driving

Eric E. Yost, 43, of Kansas City, is in custody on requested charges of Possession of methamphetamine and Possession of marijuana.
