
CLAY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating after finding an injured bald eagle.
Over the weekend, Lt. Amanda Alexander received a call about an injured bald eagle in Clay County, according to a social media report from the Kansas Department of Wildlife Game Wardens.

Lt. Alexander located the eagle and transport it to Operation Wildlife for evaluation.
The eagle was found to have a pelvic injury most likely caused by a vehicle. The eagle was released into the custody of Operation Wildlife.
