SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect in connection with a violent domestic violence incident.
On Wednesday, the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force located a man wanted on requested charges for an incident that occurred in December, according to Topeka Police Lt. Shane Hilton.
Officers took Mitchel Holmes, 28, of Topeka, into custody and brought him to the Law Enforcement Center to speak with Detectives. Holmes was then taken to the Shawnee County Department of Corrections and booked on requested charges of Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Battery, Aggravated Intimidation of a victim/witness, Aggravated Assault, Domestic Battery and Criminal Damage to Property, according to Hilton.
