SEDGWICK COUNTY—Law enforcement investigating another homicide in Wichita have made an arrest. On Tuesday night, police in Hutchinson arrested 31-year-old Andrew R. Presley after a brief standoff, according to a media release from the Wichita Police Department.
Presley, identified from Sedgwick County arrest records. is being held in connection with the death of 32-year-old Kelly Black.
Just before 6p.m. Sunday, police responded to a shooting in the 7000 block of E. Lincoln in Wichita.. First responders found Black lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but was later pronounced dead.
Pressley is being held on requested charges of second degree murder, a parole violation and for criminal possession of a firearm, according to online jail records.
