WAKEENEY - In order to protect Trego County and Trego County employees, the Trego County Commissioners have decided to close the Trego County Courthouse, except to by appointment only.
The announcement was published on social media Tuesday.
Citizens can contact any courthouse office to set up an appointment. Anyone coming into the courthouse for an appointment must wear a mask when in the courthouse.
Citizens are encouraged to use the drop box on the west side of the courthouse or do business by phone or email.
