WICHITA, Kan. — On Wednesday, police served search warrants at multiple locations across the City of Wichita and Sedgwick County, according to a media release from police.
These warrants relate to a year-long narcotics investigation conducted in partnership with the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office and Federal Law Enforcement Partners and addresses a transnational drug cartel involved in the manufacture of illegal narcotics in the community.
Earlier in the week, Wichita Police reported they have seen a rise in overdose cases in 2025, and they will continue to use every tool available to identify, apprehend, and hold accountable people in the community involved in the manufacture, distribution, and sales of illegal narcotics.
