Shirley Ann (Sealock) Farber passed away February 28, 2023, in Hoxie, Kansas. She was born November 8, 1936, in Hoxie, the daughter of Vern and Florence Sealock. Shirley married Ford Farber of Hoxie August 21, 1955 and began her lifelong , labour of love as a devoted mother and wife. She was often heard to say “I have 5 sons”, smiling the whole time. And so the endless meals, the endless ball games and sporting events, and sleepless nights began. Later in life, she loved to travel with Ford and watch him create treasured projects in the shop.
This is the last door Shirley will stand in front of, waiting for a son to open for her.
Survivors include 4 sons Alan, Curt, Scott and Eric, 2 sisters Donna, Jan, 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Ford and son, Bruce.
Visitation will be Saturday March 11, 2023 at 9 AM at the Hoxie United Methodist Church followed by the Celebration Of Life Services at 10:30 AM. Following the service inurnment will take place in the Hoxie City Cemetery.
