ELLSWORTH COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 11a.m. Saturday in Ellsworth County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a Wilson Fire Department truck with emergency lights and siren activated and driven by Dylan Walker, 29, Wilson, was westbound on Interstate 70 just east of Kansas 232.
Due to the slick roadway, the vehicle lost traction, overturned and came to rest on its roof.
EMS transported a passenger 19-year-old Taegan Thrasher of Wilson to the Ellsworth County Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Walker was not injured. There are no seat belts in the vehicle.
