Update 5p.m. —Officials lifted the evacuation order in Butler County, according to El Dorado Fire Department. There is still some fire in the area, but the all clear has been given. Residents can return home.

BUTLER COUNTY —Firefighters were fighting a large grass fire north of Central and west of Haverhill, according to a statement from the El Dorado Fire Department.
The county dispatch is using Reverse 911 notifications as necessary to residents impacted by the fire.
Those who live west of Haverhill and north of Central were asked to evacuate to safety, according to Butler County Emergency Communications. Earlier, Oil Hill Elementary School students, 2700 West 6th in El Dorado, were moved to safety at the Circle High School gymnasium, 905 Main Street in Towanda.
The American Red Cross is setting up a shelter at the Community (4-H) Building on North Griffith, according to Butler County Emergency Communications.
