SEDGWICK COUNTY —A man accused in connection with a violent attack on Christmas Eve remains jailed after a court appearance on Tuesday
A judge charged 43-year-old Jason Eastburn of Wichita with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated burglary, criminal damage to property, aggravated battery, aggravated endangering a child and criminal threat, according to online jail records.
Eastburn is accused of hitting a woman with a hammer at a home at 7237 E 24th Street in Wichita, according to police. He remains jailed on a $2 million bond
