Deputies found cocaine, guns and a child at a Kansas home

DICKINSON COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations after a weekend arrest.

On Saturday, Sheriff's Deputies were attempting to serve an arrest warrant in the 300 Block of Opal Road in Dickinson County, according to a media release from the sheriff's office. While attempting to locate the subject, deputies developed probable cause that controlled substances were within the residence and had  encountered a young child who was living there.

A search warrant was obtained and later executed.  During the search of the residence, deputies found methamphetamine, marijuana, cocaine, other  controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, and multiple firearms.

As a result of the investigation and search warrant, Orren D. Huiett, 22, of Abilene was arrested and booked into the Dickinson County Detention Facility on requested charges of Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute, Aggravated Endangering a Child, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Drug Tax Stamp and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
