MANHATTAN —Authorities are working to determine the cause of a Sunday fire at a bar and grill in Manhattan.
Just after 11:30a.m. Sunday, fire crews were dispatched t0 RC McGraws, 2317 Tuttle Creek Boulevard for a report of fire, according to a media release.
Upon arrival, crews found a small fire that had been partially extinguished. The remaining fire was extinguished within five minutes of arrival and all incoming crews were downgraded to non-emergent to assist with checking for extension and to assist with ventilating the structure.
The building, a single-story bar and grill was occupied at the time of the fire. There were no injuries and everyone evacuated safely. Fire loss is estimated at $5000 to the structure and $7000 to the contents. The owner is listed as RLD Properties LLC of Summerfield, Kansas. The fire cause is under investigation at this time.
